A native Ul'dahn Alchemist, Abby has spent her entire life preoccupied with the acquisition of knowledge. Across many places, the woman's met many people, but until recently, elected to let others be the face. She's developed a timid and slightly-awkward charm from this decision, and serves as a confident and very-forward combatant when her presence in a fight is mandated.
Despite the eccentricities, Abby strives to be a dependable person, whether she's in a lab, reading, on the battlefield, or in a social outing.
I. A reliable grey and blackmarket alchemist, Abby's name appears from time to time in underground circles. Need something made on commission? Feel free to ask!
II. (Aethersight) Abby's aether is perfectly fine and orange, but around her hip is the collection of another person's aether.
III. Abby still identifies as an Adventurer in part: need a reliable backline support or frontline tank? Then Abby may very well be the right person for you!
IV. Before becoming an alchemist once more, Abby was a Sharlayan academic -- before being fired for alleged violent tantrums in her office. Whether or not one chooses to inquire about the veracity of these rumors, Abby is more than willing to converse about a great deal of topics related to research.
OOC != IC. Probably the most basic rule of all time, but it's good to clarify! I am not my OOCsl, I'm just some weirdo who came up with her and now writes her getting up to all sorts of shenanigans! Please don't approach me with the intent on getting into a relationship with me -- but if you want to be friends, please do approach me! I like have a good rapport with other writers.INTERACTING WITH CHARACTERS! IN GAME: just walk up and tell, provided I have the RP sign on! Please don't use any fetishy terms, don't assume anything about my character's intents, and be nice! My character may not like your character's vibes and will be less likely to interact with them in the future, and that's okay! I'm sure your character's great, it just doesn't work sometimes!OUT-OF-GAME: it's different. You have a cool idea? You want to work something out? Just plot and we can get something going -- I do tend to prefer discord RP. Just come to me with A idea in mind.INTERACTING WITH ME! Want to keep communicating with me? I'm surprised, but outside of game you can ask me for my discord, I generally give that out. on request.Notably, please don't be a bigoted person! I don't like doing these reminders because they feel self-flagellating, but I'm very queer! Don't be bigoted and we'll get along.I'm also a busy person (read: bad at time management), and I can't just write every roleplay I've wanted to! In an ideal world I would love to. If I can't write/don't write with ya, nothing personal!
NSFW SHENANIGANS! I'll keep it brief, those kinds of interactions can be neat on occasion, but don't come in assuming that they will happen. My only real comment is a clarification of before — I reserve the right to not interact with anyone for any reason, with or without clarification. It’s tough, but sometimes I’m not feeling the mood or even a particular character! I’m sure your character is lovely, it’s just that the stars do not align sometime. Likewise, you reserve the right as well!Obligation to point out that for these topics you should be over 18! In general, my characters deal with generally dark themes.CANON SHENANIGANS! IN-GAME: While writing in-game, we don't assume that any character involved is the WoL. You wanna make that a part of the dynamic? Then sure, just let me know, we'll see what we can do.OUT-OF-GAME: I love making up weird verses and whatnot for my characters. If we're doing stuff out of game then let me know and let's see what we can do.WRITING STYLE! I generally try to go for a paragraph, but I'm willing to adapt one way or the other, trying to keep things relatively smooth. I'm not asking for 100% perfect grammar at all times, but just give it your best effort and I'll give mine!
